  38.   DataGone permanently erases data from hard disks and removable media. It is 
  39.   specifically designed to eliminate data that is no longer needed and should 
  40.   not be recovered by anyone else.

  42.   When files are deleted from a disk on your computer through the operating 
  43.   system, the operating system (Windows 95/98/2000/Linux) does not erase the 
  44.   content of these files from the disk. It only deletes references to these 
  45.   files on the hard drive. Contents of the deleted files continue to be stored 
  46.   on the disk and can be easily restored using disk utilities.
